TrueHeart Plays for 30,000 at Komen Race for the Cure
They cheered TrueHeart as TrueHeart Cheered Them On!
Blinking back tears of joy in admiration for the thousands of people running and committed to ending cancer in the bright morning light this morning in Dallas, Texas the band played on! TrueHeart blends rock energy, jazz sophistication, folk sensibilities and country melodrama on the same CD and many times the same song. Urban Folk? Adult Contemporary? The sibling vocal trio of Ross Vick, Karen Vick Cavazos and Patrick Vick was born of a love of the rich styles and musical influences such as The Beatles, Crosby Stills Nash and Young, America, James Taylor, Joni Mitchell and fellow Texans Lyle Lovett, Michael Martin Murphy and Willie Nelson which shape all our lives. Their newest effort, self-titled CD "TrueHeart" features the adult contemporary single “Right Words” the country single, "Find My Bliss." A typicalGemini, the group's primary songwriter Ross goes with what is flowing at the moment and his consistent Broadjam Top 10 and Dallas Songwriters Association appearances and Grammy Contender nods is credit to TrueHeart's appeal to a broad range of listeners. And a broad range there were this morning at the Komen Race for the Cure.
