International Pop Overthrow
Philadelphia is a Great City . . .
We had a great time meeting David Bash and performing at his great event, the International Pop Overthrow at the more than hospitable Pontiac Grille. Our stay at Penn's Landing was terrific as the view of the Delaware river was spectacular. The City is really a great walking venue. We tramped all over Independence Hall, The Liberty Bell and the surrounding neighborhoods at day and at night were so impressed with how safe the neighborhood is. Our set was not only fun--as usual, but productive as TrueHeart has been invited by David to meet him in Liverpool in May to play the IPO at the Cavern Club and other venues the IPO utilizes. Players are people too, and I can't help but think how fun it will be to play "where it all started" speaking as a Beatles fan. So we move on from the City of Brotherly Love, to the Spa and Resort at Doral for the St. Jude Hospital Benefit and onward and upward from there! In the meanwhile we're back in the studio getting a head start on our next CD tentatively named TrueHeartTwo!
