Four New Singles on the Way

TrueHeart completes 2 month session with Rosewood Studios

DALLAS- FedEx delivered the final mixes of the new 4 song EP by TrueHeart to industry veteran Mitchell Fox in Nashville. "Wow!" were Fox's first words upon hearing the new recordings. Never one to be at a loss for words, Fox went on with effervescent enthusiasm that ". . .the songs showcase the songwriting and vocal talents of Ross Vick and his siblings, Pat Vick and Karen Cavazos." Fox who worked extensively with Led Zepplin and the Kentucky Headhunters noted that Vick's songwriting and studio skills were on par with his other music projects.

The Gary Leach arrangements feature group guitarist Aaron Kelley, bassist James Driscoll and drummer Matt Kellum. The songs will be posted to the website in the near future and a commercial release of the four songs is in the works.

The four songs were hand picked by Gary Leach, whose writing, performing and producing skills earned himself, Rosewood Studio (in Tyler, Texas) and LeAnn Rimes a wall full of multiplatinum releases. "The songs remind me of the music I grew up and yet it's totally fresh and different and the lyrics are pertinent to my life today. It's the best of both worlds. Ross came to my studio with a bag full of songs with the idea of recording a CD of the 20 or 30 new songs he's written this year. My job as the producer on this project was to keep it focused and do it in a way that fills Ross's expectations as a songwriter, singer and performer. So, I selected four songs totally different in feel and content and yet give the undeniable impression that this is one artist bringing new and exciting music to the world."

TrueHeart will be playing the White Rock Marathon in Dallas this weekend and is looking forward to a full spring schedule. In the meanwhile new songs will be selected to round out the the new full length CD project.
