Summer's Come and Gone

And the children are leaving two by two

As this is my first blog entry, I'll do what those who know me and know of me don't expect. I'll keep it short! Today I escort Taylor, my oldest adult child to college. We'll spend tomorrow assembling the dorm room furniture and getting things settled. Meanwhile, my wife Julie will be doing the same at another university with our son Ross. When I return on Monday, we'll have but two children left at home, Ginna and Brannen in the 5th and 10th grade respectively and we now begin the decade long count down to being empty nesters. I miss'em all already! My antedote is to write more music, record more music, perform live music and get serious about that wine of the month club I've been thinking about.
