The Road is Ready for Retail!
TrueHeart's new CD "The Road" is fresh from the presses and ready to roll.
DALLAS-The UPS driver, bedraggled from Dallas evening traffic, knocked on the door of E-Heart Records headquarters at 7:10PM last night with a truck load of CD's. This, the debut artist launch for the new record label arrived looking great. TrueHeart’s “The Road” has been a year in the making. It is an 8 panel digipak, a more environmentally friendly CD package--with out the traditional jewel case.
The CD cover features photography by Dallas' own award winning photographer Brannen Vick, a senior at Highland Park High School, and graphics by Brannen's little sister Ginna, a 7th grader at Highland Park Middle School. Brannen also designed the layout.
"It's a smashing good effort for a debut album" says E-Heart Records, co-founder, Ross Vick. "The ambiance of the CD cover matches that of the music on the CD. It comes with lyrics for all 12 of the tracks so you can sing along with the tunes." Vick continued, "I'm really proud of Brannen and the great work and time she put into this project. Selecting Ginna's graphic of a compass dial she created in school which is underneath the CD, was my idea as I was trying to complete the notion brought forth in our single "The Road" which is currently Top 30 at the Billboard Adult Contemporary Chart. 'The Road' speaks to how we go about finding our way through life and difficult decisions and moments in time."
“The Road” CD will be available for retail distribution October 2, 2007. "Just in time for the Holidays!" says Vick. “Also,” Vick continued, “a portion of the proceeds of the sale of this CD are going to the WWWWFoundation, a non-profit set up to support the research for the cure for osteosarcoma. ‘The Road’ single is my way of dealing with the loss of a close friend and how our community of family and friends deal with grief and recovery.”
E-Heart Records is offering a pre-release special by sending a CD to the first 50 people who respond to the offer posted on their web site.
